Flax Seed Oil is an excellent, natural source of Essential Fatty Acids (EFA’s) with Omega 6 and a whopping two-thirds Omega 3 content, almost twice the amount found in marine oils. So an important alternative for vegetarians and people concerned about the heavy metal load of fish oils.
EFA’s are called Essential because our body cannot manufacture them. We need to eat EFA rich foods and sadly they are often missing in today’s diet.
